Conclusion – Optimum Nutrition CoQ10
There were a couple of things we liked about Optimum Nutrition CoQ10. We liked that the pills are in a softgel form and easy to swallow. We liked that there was free shipping when spending over $25. We did have a number of negative comments however. There were no instructions about dosage on the website other than it stating that the serving size is 1 softgel. It didn’t state when to take the pill, whether before or after food, or with or without water. The softgels are not vegetarian so many people might have a problem with this. There was very little information about who the target audience or therapeutic value of this supplement is aimed at. There was no explanation of desired outcomes or how long it would take to see those outcomes. We found that compared to other supplements on the market, the dose size for this supplement is too small. Other brands touted 250mg per day as the ideal amount of CoQ10. Also the ingredients contained many extra “filler” ingredients meaning each capsule is not delivering a pure form of CoQ10. There were very few reviews to be found and the ones we did find were very mixed with many saying the supplement were no help at all. Optimum Nutrition only accepts returns within 30 days and only when buying directly from their site. Also you must provide your Purchase Order number as received when your order was placed through the Site, and finally although they accept returns of opened bottles, there must be 75% or more of the product is unused. Lastly we did not see that there any special discounts offered for first time buyers, nor if you are buying in bulk. For these reasons we are unable to recommend Optimum Nutrition CoQ10 today.
