There were a couple of things we liked about Doctor’s Best High Absorption CoQ10. We liked that the supplement included BioPerine, an important ingredient that helps the body absorb CoQ10, and increases bioavailability. We liked the pricing per bottle which at around $13 for 120 pills is considerably cheaper than most competitors’ CoQ10 supplements. We did have a number of negative comments however. Although the pills are gluten free, they are not vegetarian which might be a turn off for some people. There was no explanation of desired outcomes or how long it would take to see those outcomes on the website. This is a common issue we have found, but some companies do explain the positive outcomes. At only 100mg of CoQ10 per capsule, we found that compared to other supplements on the market, the dose size of CoQ10 for this supplement is too small. Other brands touted 250mg per day as the ideal amount of CoQ10. Furthermore, the capsules contained many extra “filler” ingredients meaning each capsule is not delivering a pure form of CoQ10. Among the reviews of this supplement were some happy customers but also very many dissatisfied customers. Many reviews stated that the supplement did not live up to expectations.
